1. Archer  – 31m – Marin Productions – Mike Marin

Archer and his fellow agents are given ONE final chance to impress the CIA before being blacklisted from spy craft and espionage. Archer and his team must undergo retraining through a virtual simulation. However, when the virtual world is hacked from a well-known enemy, the team must figure out how to outsmart the villain and escape the virtual world before it kills them.

A former Jedi knight prepares to rescue her Padawan from the clutches of a powerful evil.

3. How The Cards Fall – 8m – The Carnage Trio – Sam Francisco 

This film is a origin story about the joker the villain from the batman world in the DC universe. It shows him growing and some events he went thru, and him new to starting to go professional as an adult although not quite there yet.

4. LOVE HATE: The Amazing Life of a Comic Book Artist – 23m – Austin Janowsky

AJ LOVES the world of comic books. Started collecting when he was 14 and started working in comics in 1994. Being a 20+ years comic book artist, He is doing his first appearance in public in years after having a deciding that he simply hates doing conventions/appearances/signings years ago due to dealing with all the stereotypical fans and such associated with the comic book industry. He loves to read, write, and create art for comics and has done it consistently. He has finally came out with his own project and had to bite the bullet to help promote the book to boost sales from the publisher. He has to do a signing.

We will go thru the day of the event, from him getting ready for it, going to it and not killing himself, his reputation and everyone else.

5. Paperboy – 9m – 8 Bit Squad – Santos Torres

“Paperboy” is inspired by the popular “Paperboy” video game released by Atari in 1985. Like the game, the short film is a day in the life of a newspaper delivery boy as he is inundated by bizarre obstructions and weird encounters on his run to the end of his route.

6. Star Wars Vergence – 8m – Josh Martin – Good Enough Films

It is a dark time in the galaxy. The Empire grows more powerful by the day, and is led by their new, mysterious leader, Lord Vader. Order 66 has forced the Jedi and their sympathizers into hiding, and the Jedi council is left in ruin, without a leader. The disappearance of Obi Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker has caused a great disturbance in the Force.

The Empire has enlisted the help of bounty hunters to track down any surviving Jedi, and destroy them once and for all… but there have been rumors of the Force being felt on faraway planets, and those that are one with the Force accepting their abilities and potential. This “Vergence” is the first step to becoming a true Jedi…..
